Accreditations & Memberships

Our dedication to the highest standards is reflected through independent accreditations and membership of several recognised trade associations.


At Schwing Stetter (UK) we pride ourselves on our high standards of excellence and service. This has earned us a number of accreditations with independent standards agencies and boards. In addition we hold memberships of several recognised trade associations including one we joined back in 1956.



BSI

We first received our British Standards Institution accreditation on the 11th March 1993. This was upgraded to the new standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000 in December 2002.





VCA National Small Series Approval

Between late 2014 and early 2015 we gained VCA National Small Series Type Approval for four types of vehicle. These are our AM8FHCLL concrete truck mixers which we build on to one of 4 chassis types: DAF, Mercedes Benz, Scania or Volvo. Each approval refers to one chassis type.





Cat

New Schwing static pumps come supplied with a Catapillar engine and we are now an approved agent and supplier for Cat parts through Finning UK.





Investors In People

On the 24th August 2015 we recieved official notice that we had achived our Investors In People accreditation (Bronze).





Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme

We obtained our Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) certificate in August 2014 after demonstrating high standards with regard to maintaining and operating our vehicles.





The Freight Transport Association

We've been members of the Freight Transport Association since the 4th october 2000.





The London Construction Awards

We were finalists in the 2015 London innovation of the year category of the The London Construction Awards for our fully opening mixer drum flap.





The Sprayed Concrete Association

We have been an associate member of the Sprayed Concrete Association since the 30th September 1994.





Construction Plant-Hire Association

We originally joined the Construction Plant-Hire Association on the 1st July 1956 and were one of the first companies to join.





The Concrete Society

We are also members of the Concrete Society which is not a trade association but an independent body which operates as a democratic partnership between members, their elected representatives and the society's full-time staff.
